The grammatical forms of the present tense<\/strong> are used to talk about the present, but BEWARE! because they have several uses. In the case of the 'Present Simple'<\/strong>, it is used to talk about routines and events that are always like this. In the case of 'Present Continuous'<\/strong>, it is used to talk about events that are happening right now or even to talk about a near and planned future.<\/p>

The \u2018Present Simple\u2019<\/strong> is formed using the verb in the infinitive. It only varies when using the third person, in which the 's' is added to the end of the verb. Depending on the ending of the verb, add 's', 'es' or 'ies'.<\/p>

When we make the negative form<\/strong>, both for the verb 'TO DO' and for the verb 'TO BE', 'NOT' is added. To make the abbreviation, we add 'N'T'.<\/p>

In the verb 'TO DO': Do not -> Don't -> Does not -> Doesn't<\/p>

On the other hand, in the verb 'TO BE': Is not -> Isn't or Ain't (It is used in American slang, very informal<\/strong>)\/ Are not -> Aren't<\/p>
